<description>"Presented herewith is an industry proposal for the establishment of rentals for the presently constructed housing on the sugar plantations located in the Territory of Hawaii. Consideration is given both to dwellings designed for family use and to quarters designed for occupation by single men. Proposals governing the purchase of water, electricity and fuel and the rental of garages are also presented." (Quoted from preface). This report, which was compiled by The Sugar Industry of Hawaii, includes original photographs. These photographs have also been scanned separately here, to provide greater detail.
