The Hawai'i Academy of Science (HAS), formerly named the Hawaiian Academy of Science, is a private, non-profit organization founded in 1925. The mission of the HAS is to promote scientific research and education in Hawai'i and the Pacific Region. The purpose of the Hawai'i Academy of Science is to contribute to Hawai'i's future through the promotion of scientific knowledge.
