Abstract
The Cable Vessel Subsystem (CVSS) is a major hardware element to be used on the baseline commercial cable system. The cable system will link the geothermal resources on the island of Hawaii to the Oahu electrical grid system. The present CVSS Feasibility Criteria document defines the functions of the CVSS, establishes performance requirements, and specifies the feasibility criteria by which the subsystem hardware and performance will be evaluated.
