Abstract
"Over 90 delegates, many from islands which are mere dots in the 70,000,000 square miles of the Pacific Ocean, emphatically declared to the nuclear powers, the colonisers and exploiters that they are no longer welcome. They came from British, French and American- dominated territories, newly independent countries, and independent countries committed to the 'nuclear umbrella' of the U. S. by military alliances. They shared Case Studies of island groups and reports of present installations and imminent military and nuclear expansion of the powers which manipulate and control the Pacific." quoted from introduction.
