Hawai'i Medical Journal

Permanent URI for this community

The Hawai'i Medical Journal was founded in 1941 by the Hawai'i Medical Association (HMA), incorporated in 1856 under the Hawaiian monarchy and transferred by HMA to the University Clinical, Education & Research Associates (UCERA) in 2009. The Journal has always aimed to provide scientific and scholarly information with a focus on the unique and multicultural issues central to the Hawaiian Islands and the greater Pacific.

The Hawai'i Medical Journal merged with the Hawai'i Journal of Public Health in 2011 and is now known as the Hawai'i Journal of Medicine & Public Health. Current issues of the journal are available online up to 2006 at: http://hjmph.org/index.html.

This digital collection makes available issues from 2005 and later, thanks to the cooperative efforts of the staff at the Health Sciences Library at the John A. Burns School of Medicine and the Hawai'i Journal of Medicine & Public Health.
