Abstract
Description
This folder holds various materials with information on funds collected by the Senate and House for campaigning and materials on the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. There are notes on what should be done in case the Democrats lose control of the Senate in 1970, political news reports, the margin of loss of control over states by Democrats, updates on the state of Democrats in various states, and primary reasons why states were lost. There are also minutes from a meeting of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, with summaries of what speakers had said and information on a leadership conference for Democrats. The ratio of seats held by both houses, along with the presidential election are also compared in a table looking at votes from 1964-1968.
