04. Rehabilitation (Welfare)
Permanent URI for this collection
Reports are broken down into eight districts: Kwajalein, Majuro, Palau, Ponape (i.e. Pohnpei), Saipan, Truk (i.e. Chuuk) and Yap. Coverage varies from district to district in terms of years and months, though in general the reporting begins in late 1946 and ceases in 1949. The later Kwajalein district reports include information on welfare of island communities following their resettlement during the nuclear testing period.
