These circulars, produced between 1984 and 2001, were informational bulletins for members of what is presently called the ICTM Study Group on Music and Dance of Oceania. At the time of these circulars, the name of the group evolved from the "Study Group on Oceania," to that concerning "Music of Oceania," and then to "Musics of Oceania." Study Group members include those with research interests in the musics of aboriginal Australia, Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia. In some cases, these online versions have been edited to remove personal information about members.
