Abstract:Written by the author of "An epistle from Oberea, Queen of Otaheite," to Joseph Banks, esq. The latter is ascribed to Major John Scott, later John Scott Waring, by Halkett & Laing, in their Dictionary of anonymous and pseudonymous English literature; but to John Scott, poet of Amwell, in the British Museum catalogue of printed books.
