dc.description.abstractThis study assessed patients' knowledge, experience and satisfaction with their cancer pain management, explored professional documentation and assessment practices and the presence or absence of institutional infrastructures that support pain management. The findings were then compared to the recommended standards and guidelines published by the World Health Organization, American Pain Society and Agency for Health Care Policy and Research.
