Memorandum on the induction records and reported numbers for Japanese American soldiers, informing of investigation into why induction records were not received from Hawaii. Enclosed is a memo and report showing the cause of separation or transfer of Japanese American soldiers from 1 July 1940 through 31 May 1943, and a memo requesting correction on the number of Japanese Americans (soldiers) recruited in Hawaii.
