Description
Memorandum on loyalty investigations of American citizens of Japanese ancestry. Informs of a plan for the War Department to assist in determining the loyalty of Japanese American citizens for the purpose of release from War Relocation Centers and for possible induction to military service or employment in war plants and facilities. Describes the procedures of the plan including the makeup of teams to be sent to the relocation centers, public relations, a Joint Board to recommend on release and employment, and that the Office of the Assistant Secretary of War will coordinate the activities.
