This folder contains various statements given by Senator Daniel K. Inouye relating to Indian Affairs. In this statement Inouye reviews the history of the regulatory framework for the administration of Indian Gaming activities, estimated revenues and the related Gaming Bill. He then recounts the way that he became more involved in the Senate Select Committee on Indian Affairs and the achievements of the committee, along with the politics involved with the committee. He also gives information about looking into the sovereignty of tribal governments, state governments and the federal government. A schedule for the forum for Tribal Leaders is also included in this folder.
