This folder contains a speech given by Senator Daniel K. Inouye to the Agriculture Committee regarding the Sugar Bill and sugar production in Hawai'i. In the speech, he asks the Committee to renew its contracts with American sugar producers and urges those in the sugar industry to maintain their stances on sugar production in Hawai'i to ensure the survival of the sugar industry in Hawai'i and in the United States.
