Abstract
Description
This folder contains a speech given by Senator Daniel K. Inouye for the Los Angeles JACL Legislative Education Committee. In the speech, he explains the need for work to be done to combat both the current huge trade deficit, and the anti-Japanese sentiment that stands in the way of passing the redress bill. He validates the concern caused by the deficit and expresses hope that the discussion during the meeting will help in gathering ideas to convince Congress and fellow Americans.
