Description
This folder contains letters from those opposing the redress bill and letters concerning the progress made by the Office of Redress Administration and the Civil Liberties Public Education Fund in providing compensation for the internment during WWII of those of Japanese descent, including certain non-Japanese individuals. This folder also contains documents that indicate problems with the 1988 Civil Liberties Act, or case reversals denying the claims for compensation of those who are not of Japanese ancestry.
