This folder holds various election materials such as statement of candidacy forms, notes of estimated campaign balances, bank statements, fund transfer documents, Senator Daniel K. Inouye's 1998 Campaign Committee documents, and other forms needed for campaigning. There are also pages from the Federal Election Commission Campaign Guide, as well as chapters from the Senate Ethics Manual relating to banking, political spending, contributions and fundraising. The manual explains ways to ethically carry out campaigning, as well as rules on what a member of the Senate can, or cannot do, including committee regulations to abide by and the privileges provided to Senate members.
