This folder contains the speech given by Senator Daniel K. Inouye for the welcoming ceremony of the reconciliation process regarding the overthrow of the Hawaiian monarchy. In this speech Senator Inouye talks about the securing of an apology resolution to remedy or undo the damage caused by the overthrow of the Hawaiian monarchy by Americans. He then introduces elected officials and staff members who took part in the resolution and welcomes those who have come to the ceremony.
