Description

This folder holds part 1 of various congratulatory letters and correspondence between Senator Daniel K. Inouye, his wife Maggie, and his aide Morio Omori and various acquaintances, world politicians, friends, and celebrities. Inouye is praised for a successful campaign, as well as for being a nisei. The letters express support, inspiration and also include things that those writing the letters hope will be accomplished now that Inouye has become a Senator.
