Memorandum for Mr. McCloy on a talk he is to give and a current conference of War Department teams that are scheduled to visit war relocation centers to register Japanese Americans, with suggested points for his talk to the teams. Attached is a copy of a 9 page talk by Colonel A. C. Miller of the Office of the Provost Marshal General to these teams on their assignment for loyalty investigations of American citizens of Japanese ancestry in war relocation centers. The talk describes the tasks for the team, provides background on the evacuation of the Japanese populace from the West Coast and the war relocation centers, and summarizes the agencies involved in the program.
