Abstract
Description
Memo from Colonel William P. Scobey, Executive to Assistant Secretary of War, to Assistant Secretary of War John J. McCloy describing his recent visits to a number of internment camps, including Gila River, Manzanar, and Colorado River. Scobey notes that his visit was intended to observe operations of the camps and the registration teams, and describes some difficulties he observed with registration, but notes that the majority of Japanese Americans are eager to prove their loyalty.
