Abstract
Description
This folder contains various documents, letters, pamphlets and other written materials pertaining to Senator Daniel K. Inouye in 1998. There are a series of five promotional cards that have different messages encouraging the people of Hawai'i to support Senator Inouye. Other articles include a booklet that highlights Inouye’s stance on supporting education, preserving the environment, and ensuring equal opportunities for all. There are letters from Inouye to members of the Democratic Party inviting them to a reception dinner including a bill for the cost of attendance. The folder also contains a speech made by Inouye during the Democratic Party Convention at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel that emphasized the importance of leadership and what traits make a good leader. A majority of the folder consists of letters, memorandums, schedule plans, survey statistics, etc. that revolve around the Democratic Party and Senator Inouye.
