dc.description.abstractThe purpose of these regulations is to provide for the leasing of State and reserved lands for the purpose of geothermal resources exploration, development and production and to provide for the regulation of all drilling for geothermal resources in Hawaii in order to prevent waste and damage to geothermal resources, to prevent damage to other natural resources, to prevent degradation of water resources, to protect the environment, and to prevent injury to life and property.
