This folder contains a speech given by Senator Daniel K. Inouye to honor those who had given their lives during WWII. In this speech Inouye remembers the battles, the soldiers, the experiences of war, and victory gardens, which provided supplies needed to support the war efforts. He also talks about the efforts of citizens during the war, and discusses women working in typically male-dominated jobs due to war and the results of their efforts.
