| dc.description.abstract | In Spring 2015, the Leeward Community College Library embarked on a journey to redesign its fourth-generation website which originally launched in 2010. A multitude of factors sparked this quest: changing user needs/expectations, feedback from patrons, new online resources, emerging web design trends, and the opportunity to experiment with Drupal (the campus Content Management System) and LibGuides. Join us as we re-live this grueling, enlightening, and ultimately rewarding 20-month odyssey that culminated in our new fifth-generation website, which launched in August 2016. We will share lessons learned and show you how we built a website through determination, collaboration, and creativity. | en_US |
