This folder contains letters from Senator Inouye asking for support for an increase in staff at Honolulu International Airport, support for redress payments authorized under the Civil Liberties Act of 1988 and for other projects needing funding from the government for the State of Hawai'i. This folder also holds letters from politicians asking for support for S. 2553, the Civil Liberties Act Amendments of 1992 on redress for Americans of Japanese ancestry interned during WWII.
