dc.descriptionScale approximately 1:1,500,000. 1 map : color ; 73.5 x 46 cm, on sheet 76 x 52.5 cm, folded to 19 x 13 cm. Color lithograph, dissected into 16 sections and mounted on original linen, small additional newsprint map of central Korea pasted down to lefthand side and small printed pastedown ‘Errata’ slip to lower right corner, contemporary red map seller’s hand stamp by title, some contemporary mss. additions in pen, pencil and crayon, contemporary pastedown manuscript title to verso. Color coding to identify 9 geological zones, as well as symbols indicating the locations of gold, copper, iron, and coal deposits.
