This folder contains a memorandum by Senator Daniel K. Inouye for the National Credit Union Association in Washington D.C. regarding the effect of tax reform on credit unions, effects of the Reagan budget, effects of the Gramm-Rudman bill and the budget cuts it proposes, grants, and an analysis of the budgets for the 1987 fiscal year. The folder also contains a document called "the budget situation," comparing budget amounts from 1980, 1985, 1986, and the proposed budget for 1987 and its predicted deficits. Also attached are the Senate races of 1986 which include the states' candidates and political parties.
