Description
This folder contains Senator Daniel K, Inouye's speech to the American Association of Children's Residential Centers. In this speech Inouye talks about the unique needs of America's children and appropriations bills that Inouye pushed for. He also mentions beliefs in benefit programs for children in America and ways in which the U.S. system falls short of providing proper healthcare. Inouye also addresses healthcare abuses of the system, healthcare professionals seeking to take advantage of their position in society and ways in which to combat that, and ways to ensure quality care for children.
