Letter from Colonel William P. Scobey, Executive to Assistant Secretary of War, to Joe Masaoka, Director of the Membership Division of the Japanese-American Citizens League, responding to a letter from Masaoka regarding Corporal Sukeo Oji, an engineering student and civilian pilot who wishes to join the Army Air Forces. Scobey advises that Oji is not eligible to join the Army Air Forces but may join the 442nd and apply for a position as an air crew member with the Field Artillery Battalion.
