Abstract
Description
Memorandum regarding a conference between representatives of the War Department's Personnel Division G-1, Military Intelligence Division G-3, and the Office of the Assistant Secretary of War to discuss replacements for the 100th Infantry Battalion and induction procedures for Japanese Americans under selective service. The main points are the possibility of Japanese American soldiers serving in units besides the Japanese American combat team, and the resistance from G-1 and G-3 to any change in current policy that Japanese American soldiers should be kept to the combat team.
