McCloy from Major General Peterson regarding inspection of Fort Riley after the incident aforementioned; a memorandum for Major General Peterson from Mr. McCloy forwarding an extract of a purported letter written by a Japanese American soldier that includes statements about the Fort Riley incident; and a copy of the extract of this letter; a letter to George Inagaki, Salt Lake City, Utah from Colonel Scobey about the position of Japanese Americans at the present time, a general policy of the War Department (for Japanese American soldiers?) and about Nisei soldiers held under guard during the President's visit (to Fort Riley, Kansas); and a letter to Colonel Scobey from George Inagaki reporting his volunteering for the Military Intelligence Service and commenting on Nisei and the Japanese American combat team being formed.
