Abstract
Description
Memorandum to the Provost Marshal General's office referencing a report on the situation with Japanese American soldiers at Camp Shelby and calling for immediate corrective measures be taken if the report is correct about "uncouth treatment" of the soldiers by some of the local military police. The report is included and covers factors helping assure "an orderly reception and training of additional Japanese American units" as well as a few "negative factors" which may prove a source of trouble in the future.
