Abstract
Description
This folder contains a condensed version of Senator Inouye's "Go For Broke," examples of the different ways that different states in the U.S. treated Asian immigrants, along with the reasoning behind sending those of Japanese descent to places like Manzanar. The material also looks at the U.S. Government's disregard for international law, the issue of redress for those who were interned, and the ways that the 1988 Civil Liberties Act affected people living in the U.S.
