This folder is comprised of primarily materials related to the 1986 election, Senator Daniel K. Inouye's accomplishments from 1959-1986 and documents related to the Democratic Party of Hawai'i; their preamble, action plans, goals, etc. There are various 1986 campaign schedules, with islands, addresses and donation amounts for the events. There is also a letter from the Democratic Party of Hawai'i with information on lesbian and gay rights, the Candidate Assistance Program to help politicians with campaigning and endorsements of various community groups for Inouye, along with staff endorsements of Inouye, listing their names, positions and the number of years they have worked for Inouye.
