This folder holds materials related to the Native Hawaiians Study Commission: their findings, history regarding the overthrow of the Hawaiian monarchy and recommendations from the Commission to meet the needs of native Hawaiians, Congressional Research Service analyses of international legal issues possibly relevant to the overthrow of the Hawaiian monarchy, and of the Blount and Morgan reports. There is much photocopied reference material, a newsletter of the ALOHA Association, and notes and statements relating to the work of the Commission and dismissal of commissioners.
