Abstract

Description

A clipping from the Washington Evening Star reports that Senator Chandler of Kentucky stated that 80% of the Japanese Americans at unnamed internment camp expressed loyalty to Japan. Attached is a seemingly unrelated memo from McCloy to Stimson regarding an attached collection of 20 newspaper editorials from around the U.S. discussing the perception of the newly-formed Nisei combat team.
