This folder contains documentation of Senator Daniel K. Inouye's speeches at various events and various copies of Inouye's keynote address to the Democratic National Convention. In these speeches Inouye covers the topics such as crime in America, African American mortality rates, historical injustices suffered by African Americans, revolts, reasons why the voices asking for progress should not be silenced or feared, current legislation in 1968, and the dangers of air pollution, oil spills and environmental damage.
