Abstract
Description
This folder holds statistics related to Japanese descendants from Latin American countries who had been deported or interned. This folder also mentions findings on the role of the United States in deporting, relocating, and interning Japanese Latin Americans during WWII. There are also various government documents which support the idea that the United States government and military played a role in the internment and exchange of Japanese Latin American internees for prisoners of war from the Japanese and the cooperative actions of the Latin American countries that these internees had been relocated from. Documents that were used in the report are also listed, along with information on where these documents can be found.
