He also goes over recently passed legislation relating to workers of Hawai'i such as the Family and Medical Leave Act and the Striker Replacement Act. Inouye also talks about the building of a mass transit system on Hawai'i Island and the building of the H-3 on O'ahu, which he feels will provide jobs for the people of Hawai'i. Inouye also talks about the construction of various college campus buildings and the fight to keep military installments operating.
