Abstract
Description
This folder contains some mementos from the ceremony where the first redress payments were given out, including a copy of the Assistant Attorney General's speech from the ceremony, the ceremony's program, and short bios of speakers. There are also informative papers for those interested in learning about the process for redress and a copy of Act 100-383, which acknowledges the injustice of internment of those of Japanese ancestry and the Aleut residents, and gives restitution for those interned.
