Abstract
The Micronesian Area Research Center at the University of Guam is a premier center for social sciences and humanities research in the western Pacific and a major resource for materials related to Guam and Micronesia. The Collection constitutes one of the most extensive repositories of Guam and Micronesia library materials in the world. Because of this, MARC attracts students, researchers, and scholars from all over the world. This presentation will highlight some of the resources and library materials in the MARC Collection. Also, it will show how MARC serves as a "Library As Place" during a time of change in the profession.
