This folder contains a copy of a speech titled "Defender of Freedom Ceremony." This is a speech that Senator Daniel K. Inouye gave in which he praises the history of the Jewish people and their achievements, along with their accomplishments in the arts, sciences, etc. He also recounts times in which the Jewish people have faced hardships. Inouye then talks about the new administration in Washington and various legislation. Besides the speech, there is also a program for the Defender of Jerusalem Award 10th Presentation, which gives reasons for the awardees receiving awards.
