Description

This folder contains news articles, correspondence, including "Dear Colleague" letters, relating to the Wartime Treatment Study Act of 2007. This is an act which establishes commissions to study the treatment of European Americans and European Latin Americans, and the study of the treatment of Jewish refugees fleeing Nazi persecution by the U.S. government during WWII. There is also material related to the internment of those of German and Italian descent in Hawai'i during WWII, and the findings of the committees on the treatment of those of German, Italian and Jewish descent by the U.S. Government.
