This folder holds various laws, claims, and challenges to the Supreme Court related to the acknowledgement of the unjust internment, evacuation, and relocation of U.S. citizens and permanent U.S. resident aliens with Japanese, native Alaskan, or Pribilof Island ancestry during WWII. There is also background information on the Commission on Wartime Relocation and Internment of Civilians, which looked at the impacts of internment, along with recommended remedies for the relocation of those who were interned.
