Letter to Colonel Wilson, War Relocation Authority from Colonel Scobey, Executive to the Assistant Secretary of War, about transferring back to the 442nd Infantry Combat Team a number of soldiers who had been transferred out because they had spent some time in Japan. Attached is a letter to the Gang (Headquarters, 3rd Battalion, 442nd) from Sgt. Tatsumi Iwate, SCSU 1497, Ft. Jackson, South Carolina, reporting on the conditions at his new post at Ft. Jackson (where he was transferred to from the 442nd), their assigned duties, and his desire to rejoin the 442nd Infantry.
