This folder contains a speech by Senator Daniel K. Inouye regarding the Olinda Captive Propagation Facility. In this speech Inouye talks about the endangered plant and animal species in Hawai'i and how a majority of these species have become extinct since the arrival of the first settlers. He also talks about the efforts of Olinda in saving endangered species, along with their habitats and the plan of Olinda to save these species so they move on to saving more species after the Alala and Nene.
