This folder contains various maps and documents concerning Sand Island, including exhibits to answer questions raised by the Department of Justice about whether or not Sand Island is considered ceded land. There are also related land documents, related court cases, which list the boundaries of land, rights to access to land, fishery rights. The documents also look at differences in translation between Hawaiian and English and public land transactions in Hawai'i.
