This folder holds the February 1972 final environmental impact statement on the Kaho'olawe Island target Complex. This environmental impact statement looks at the impact of the United States military use of Kaho'olawe, the environmental impacts of that usage, and the unavoidable effects that occurred. This document also looks at the commitments of resources related to military use of Kaho'olawe, as well as alternatives to military use of the island as a target complex. The document also includes archaeological notes related to Kaho'olawe, and historical information on land ownership of the island and related legislation.
