Abstract
Description
This folder contains a statement given by Senator Daniel K. Inouye related to S. 1510, legislation which will develop U.S. cruise ship tourism. In this speech the Senator talks about how Congress can provide incentives for the development of a U.S.-built cruise ship industry. He also voices his concerns and names some incidents where activity on foreign cruise lines operating in the U.S. resulted in fines, or articles which highlighted significant issues. Also included in this folder are testimonies regarding S. 1510 and articles related to foreign cruise ships operating in the U.S.
